Lords and Ladies is a family-run retreat in the Dinokeng Game Reserve — the only Big 5 reserve of Gauteng. We host in the way we would want to be hosted: quietly, attentively, and with the bush always in mind.
Our story
A new chapter in the bush
In 2026, we — a couple drawn to the quiet rhythm of the Dinokeng bush — took over the lodge and began writing its next chapter. We arrived with a simple intention: to keep what makes this place special and to host it with the care of a home rather than the polish of a hotel.
We are still learning the land — every track, every waterhole, every returning visitor — and we are shaping the lodge slowly, guided by the seasons and by the guests who share our love of the wild. What you'll find here is unhurried, personal, and made by hand. The rest, we're writing together with the bush.
